Printing Industries focuses on print estimating and planning

 

The importance of key print business staff having a good understanding of planning and estimating is the focus of a Printing Industries' introductory course being run in Sydney during November.

Run over one day, Wednesday November 19, the Print Estimating and Planning course will teach participants the correct methods to prepare and present an accurate quote; develop an understanding of the principles behind ‘hourly rates’; have an awareness of the differences between various print materials; understand the concepts of planning and imposing; be able to comprehend and explain Estimating Standards and be able to proficiently work through actual working estimates.

The course is perfect for company owners, managers, supervisors and sales teams and industry professionals including print buyers, print production co-ordinators and graphic designers looking for a solid understanding of planning and estimating principles and processes.

It will run from 9am-5pm at Printing Industries’ Auburn office. Cost is $528 pp (GST incl) for Printing Industries members and $605 for non-members. Tutor is Gary Biarinec who can be contacted for more information on 0403 315 354.
