Snap Printing Rowville first to snap up new Versant 2100

Adam Fittler congratulates Gary Handel, Snap Rowville

Snap Printing Rowville has furthered its partnership with Fuji Xerox Australia, choosing to install the very first Versant 2100 press into the Australian franchise print market.

Snap Rowville had considered a move up the digital ladder for some months, and when heard about the new Versant 2100 press from Fuji Xerox Australia, director Gary Handel and his son Robert jumped on a plane and were one of the very first customers to see the new Versant 2100 press in Fuji Xerox’s epicenter lab in Sydney.

After extensively testing their unique applications, Snap Rowville could see the opportunity to provide greater value to their clients’ businesses, leverage the technology to further innovate, and continue to remain a leader in the market.

“The Fuji Xerox Versant 2100 press will further our ability to deliver market leading solutions for which we have become known to consistently deliver,” said Handel.

Adam Fittler, national sales manager - franchises at Fuji Xerox Australia, said: “We’re incredibly excited to bring the Versant 2100 press to Australia and help businesses do more with the device. We worked closely with the team at Snap Rowville to make sure the equipment could produce the applications and quality they were looking for, un-locking the potential of this new technology within their business.”

The new Versant 2100 is packed with innovative features to help customers offer more for their customers. Apart from delivering print speeds of up to 100ppm, and auto perfecting stocks from 52gsm to 350gsm, the device contains many new automation features such as Production Accurate Registration (PAR) which uses the unique ACQS inline spectrophotometer as a camera to accurately set up front to back registration with the touch of a button.

“While we were researching and testing the device, it became obvious just how much improvement this was going to deliver to Snap Rowville. Naturally, we wanted to be the first to market with this solution in Australia,” said Handel.
