The inaugural Australian Pavilion at ProPak Asia was a huge success

The Australian Packaging & Processing Machinery Association (APPMA) has hailed the launch of the inaugural Australian Pavilion at ProPak Asia 2016 to assist Australian companies showcase their products to the Asean region, as an unqualified success for all involved.

A major event during the tradeshow was the networking event that the APPMA ran with Austrade, which was attended by the Australian Ambassador for Thailand, His Excellency Paul Robilliard, and over 40 guests.

Companies who exhibited in the Australian Pavilion included Accupack, Adaptapack, Confoil, HMPS, Rhima, the Australian Institute of Packaging and the host of the pavilion, the APPMA. Outside of the pavilion other APPMA Member companies such as TNA, Heat & Control and Fibre King also exhibited at the show.

Exhibitors within the Australian Pavilion have confirmed that they will be re-joining in 2017 with two of the companies indicating that they will be increasing their space.

ProPak Asia, the region’s number one international trade event for food, drink and pharmaceutical processing and packaging technology, once again delivered the best-ever and biggest-ever event breaking all previous records and receiving outstanding feedback from exhibitors and visitors alike. 2016 saw 40,893 visitors in the four days from 48 countries.

The APPMA looks forward to not only hosting the Australian Pavilion again in 2017 but also speaking to other companies who are interested in being a part of this successful initiative. If your company is interested in exhibiting at ProPak Asia 2017 in the Australian Pavilion please contact the APPMA on appma@appma.com.au to find out more.
