National Technical Forum speaker updates

Be inspired by the wide range of speakers at the upcoming 2017 National Technical Forum being held in conjunction with AUSPACK 2017 at the Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park from March 7 to 10.

Among them are Giulio Ghisolfi, general manager, Idealpack Srl; Matt Minio, managing director, Objective 3D; Jason Goode, group packaging and process improvement manager, Simplot Australia; Jason Bezzina, business development manager, Tetra Pak Recart – Oceania; Alan Spreckley, global industry segment manager (Food & Beverage) Robotics, ABB; and Michael Lee,program manager, value chain capability, Meat & Livestock Australia.

The presentation from Idealpack's Giulio Ghisolfi will focus on the ASP (Aseptic Spouted Pouch), an innovative 'breakthrough' worldwide patented packaging solution created and developed for improving the application of reclosable spouts on different types and sizes of Stand-Up Pouches (SUP’).

He will be presenting a paper on ‘3D Printing is Shaping the Future of Packaging: A look into the use 3D printing technology for the production of packaging prototypes, moulds to thermoform parts, concept and functional prototyping for R&D.
