Business focus drives PacPrint 2017

PacPrint 2017 will be held from May 23 – 26, 2017

When the doors of PacPrint 2017 open in May next year, the focus will be firmly on connecting businesses to the products, services and innovations they need to drive growth and success, say organisers. Already, the industry’s leading names are lining up, keen to do business at the show, and those who want to benefit from the latest trends, technologies and learning opportunities would do well to block out the dates in their diaries, too.

“Following on from a very positive and exciting drupa, PacPrint is ideally timed and placed to not only give the region a first-hand look at the latest technological advances and exciting new opportunities which were unveiled at the international show, but also to connect with suppliers to see how these can be harnessed to complement existing business offerings and create new, profitable revenue streams,” says Peter Harper, general manager – Trade Shows for Visual Connections, which is co-hosting the event with Printing Industries.

“The list of industry leaders already confirmed as exhibitors for PacPrint 2017 already make this an exciting opportunity, and when you add the value of learning opportunities like forum and workshop sessions and co-location with the Visual Impact expo it becomes an unmissable show for anyone looking to build their business success,” he says.

Currie Group will once again have the largest stand at the exhibition, right inside the front doors, with HP, Ricoh, Fuji Xerox, Konica Minolta and Canon also securing prime real-estate for the show. They will be joined by other key suppliers including Starleaton, Celmac, Neopost, Graphic Art Mart, Roland, Epson, AVS, Multicam, Mimaki, EFI, Screen and Agfa, together with a huge variety of smaller exhibitors.

“The commitment of these key suppliers across a broad range of industry sectors is a great result for the show, and without exception they have expressed their excitement about the opportunity to connect with print and graphic communications businesses around the region and help them find the solutions they need to build their own business success,” Harper says.

“It’s always interesting to see how these shows reflect the very dynamic nature of our industry, and at PacPrint 2017 we are looking forward to seeing exciting new technologies in the 3D and functional print space, sitting alongside the very latest solutions in digital, wide-format and conventional print technologies, finishing systems, workflow and software innovations as well as sign and display.

“It will be exciting to see some of these truly revolutionary developments demonstrated in our region for the very first time, providing business owners and decision makers with their best opportunity in four years to see, evaluate and compare different solutions, all under one roof.”

Harper adds that other opportunities like the popular PacPrint Forum Series – which he says is shaping up to be ‘very diverse and exciting’ in 2017 – in-show workshops and live demonstrations providing plenty of opportunities to be informed and inspired, and events like the National Print Awards providing that all-important chance to connect with suppliers, colleagues and friends from around the industry.

“There’s no question that this is a very exciting time for our industry, with enormous potential for businesses to harness the power of new technologies and innovative solutions to grow their businesses, improve profitability and build success. PacPrint 2017 will provide the information, inspiration and contacts businesses need to maximise those opportunities.”

More than 13,000 visitors from around Australia, New Zealand and the wider Asia-Pacific region are expected to flock to the Melbourne Convention & Exhibiton Centre for PacPrint 2017, which will be held from May 23 – 26, 2017.
