Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific has launched the 1400 Inkjet Color continuous feed printing system (model-S2H) for data and commercial printing markets. The high-speed, high-resolution space-efficient full-colour printer is scalable to suit various business needs from basic print to high-volume data jobs at up to 100 metres/minute.
Compared to dual-engine inkjets, this single-engine system extends affordability and size, making it an entry level purchase for customers exploring high-end inkjet printing business. The printer offers users the option of duplex printing for paper width up to 254 millimetres, fitted with a unique paper path to enable one engine to print on both sides of paper.
It is equipped with high processing capability for concurrent output processing with a raster image processor. The inkjet also features the latest piezo print head technology which produces sharp and smooth images up to 600 x 600 dpi, similar to those in offset presses. This allows companies to create documents with clear characters and numbers, print high-quality images and sharp two-dimensional barcodes.
The infra red dryer and a cooling roller enhance ink-drying performance, while an easy-to-use touch panel display and graphical user interface allow for operating and managing print jobs efficiently.
