Don’t delay – book today for bumper NPA

With the Media Super National Print Awards just under two weeks away, those who want to be at the industry’s ‘night of nights’ should reserve their place without delay, say organisers, as bookings close this Friday, 8 May, and demand for the night is expected to be high.

Already, canny planners have booked their tickets for the event, which this year will not only see the industry’s brightest and best recognised for excellence, but also provide a fitting conclusion to three days of ideas, information and inspiration at PrintEx15.

“With the focus of the industry firmly on Sydney next week with visitors flying in from around the country and overseas, we are expecting the Media Super National Print Awards to be more popular than ever, so if you’re intending to come and have not yet reserved your place, there’s no time to lose,” said NPA Chair Susan Heaney today.

The Awards are to be held at Waterview in Bicentennial Park, Sydney Olympic Park, on Friday 15 May, following the close that afternoon of the PrintEx15 exhibition at the nearby Sydney Showground. As well as a sumptuous dinner the night will, of course, see the presentation of this year’s National Print Awards Gold medals and coveted sponsor Awards including the Media Super Print Industry Legend Award, the Media Super Young Executive Award, the Heidelberg Australia Award for Excellence, the Currie Group Award for Brilliant Images in Print and the Fuji-Xerox Effectiveness Award.

Just as importantly, it will be a night of outstanding entertainment hosted by popular media personality Emma Freedman and Media Super’s Patrick Horneman, and featuring the talents of one of Australia’s leading ladies of song, ARIA award winning Wendy Matthews, dinner band the Skylarks, and of course, the opportunity to catch up with industry friends from around the nation who will be in Sydney for this pivotal week.

“Demand for tickets is already strong and, if past experience is anything to go by, we’re expecting this to increase dramatically in coming days,” Heaney says. “If you would like to join us, therefore, I suggest you book without delay - I can promise it will be a terrific night of celebrations and the perfect way to relax after a busy three days at PrintEx15!”

Tickets to the 32nd National Print Awards Presentation Dinner are just $125/head and can be reserved by downloading a form from www.nationalprintawards.com.au or emailing organisers on printawards@printnet.com.au
