Fuji Xerox Australia has announced the appointment of Neil Whitaker as its new managing director. Existing managing director, Nick Kugenthiran, will take on a new role of corporate advisor leading some large regional projects while transitioning to retirement.
For the past 11 years Whittaker has been managing director of Fuji Xerox New Zealand. He brings to Australia a wealth of knowledge from his 35 years at Fuji Xerox, including a deep understanding of the marketplace and customer needs.
“I’m delighted to take on this new challenge within a business that inspires me on a daily basis. Nick has successfully guided the Australian organisation through considerable changes and we’ve remained agile and ahead of our competitors,” explained Whittaker. “I’ll be working with our Australian team to ensure we stay on same path and strive for excellence.”
“The time is right for new leadership to lead Fuji Xerox Australia’s continued business success,” said Nick Kugenthiran. “Neil has been at the forefront of an ambitious and determined team in New Zealand and has spearheaded the business’s growth in that region. When I decided to retire, I knew he was the right man to continue our trajectory towards further success and innovation in Australia.
“In my 22 years at Fuji Xerox Australia, and six as the managing director, I have enjoyed the incredible journey the organisation has been on and I look forward to seeing what comes next in Australia,” he added.
