swissQprint to debut two new models at Fespa

Oryx 2 and Impala 2: the second generation from swissQprint

swissQprint is presenting two new large format printers at Fespa 2015 between May 18 and 22. Although the Oryx 2 and Impala 2 UV printers will celebrate their premiere at Fespa 2015, both models are available now. Their Swiss developer and manufacturer will also be showing a new workflow for 3D printing effects.

Users gain yet more scope in their format choices thanks to the 2.5 × 2 metre large flatbed featured on both printers – representing a 25% greater area than the first generation models. In addition, the new systems deliver considerably higher output than their predecessors.

As well as the new machines, the Swiss specialists have developed an integrated workflow for droptix, the swissQprint 3D effect. This workflow makes it a breeze to produce the fascinating 3D effects that impressed visitors at Fespa 2014. swissQprint also helps practitioners to work as efficiently as possible throughout the process chain, not just at the actual printing stage.

With a new range plus practical tools, swissQprint intends to prove once again its capacity to innovate at Fespa 2015. The exhibition team is also open to exchanges with experts to accommodate needs and ideas for future developments.

Philip Trumble, managing director of Pozitive, and sales, manager Brett Burns will be in attendance at the SwissQprint booth throughout Fespa to welcome Australian printers.

“If you are looking to invest in the rapidly growing wide format market, a visit to the swissQprint booth at Fespa Cologne is a must!” says Trumble. “Not only will you see the latest generation of UV flatbed printers that are setting the benchmark for speed, quality and versatility, you will see the amazing droptix technology from swissQprint produce stunning digitally printed 3D images right before your eyes. With over 500 machines installed around the globe, swissQprint has once again raised the bar with the launch of Oryx 2 and Impala 2.”
