Konica Minolta wins two BLI awards for energy efficiency

Bizhub C3350 offers impressive energy efficiency

Konica Minolta continues to thrive with BLI’s prestigious industry awards, winning two Outstanding Achievement Awards for Energy Efficiency at the BLI Winter Pick 2015 test season.

The Konica Minolta bizhub C3350 outshone the competition thanks to its 43 percent lower than average estimated annual energy consumption rate, while the Konica Minolta bizhub 4750 earned recognition for an estimated annual energy consumption rate that’s 51 percent lower than the average of A4 monochrome MFPs for midsize/large workgroups tested to date.

In addition, both devices’ tested toner yields exceeded rated yields during testing. Job review and proof modes help to reduce paper and consumables waste and toner-save mode for print output helps to reduce toner use. The units also meet the requirements for US ENERGY STAR, EU RoHS, Canada EcoLogo, ECMA-370/The Eco Declaration, Germany Blue Angel, Japan Eco Mark and Korea Eco Label.

“We are honoured to have been recognised by the world’s leading independent authority in the document imaging industry for our high-performing, energy efficient bizhub C3350 and 4750 A4 multifunction printers,” comments Stevan Caldwell, national marketing manager, Konica Minolta Business Solutions Australia. “Receiving two awards for Outstanding Achievement in Energy Efficiency reinforces Konica Minolta’s environmental vision to fulfil its responsibility as a global corporate citizen by contributing to a sustainable earth and society. Combined with our comprehensive range of services, solutions and eco-friendly practices, our customers can be confident that Konica Minolta will be an active partner in achieving their sustainability goals.”
