Mimaki Australia has appointed Chris Dutkowski as state sales manager and Richard O’Brien as service technician to help develop and support the Mimaki dealer network in Queensland. The first task for the new team will be to promote the Mimaki range on the North Queensland Innovation Road Show in four cities – Cairns, Townsville, Mackay and Rockhampton – over four days from November 18 to 21.
Dutkowski joins Mimaki after 17 years in the sign and graphics industry with both manufacturers and suppliers, most recently for the best part of a decade at Australian Graphic Supplies. He combines his industry experience with an integral knowledge of Mimaki equipment which he has been involved with for over six years to provide the right solutions for a customer’s business.
Richard O’Brien has been involved in technical support for Mimaki for over eight years and is one of the most respected technicians in the industry. Experienced from both a technical and applications perspective, he brings a wealth of knowledge to the Mimaki technical team and will be invaluable in supporting the dealer network.
After opening the doors 12 months ago, Mimaki Australia has grown from strength to strength, offering a diverse range of products to the Australian graphics market. The latest of these products is the recently launched CJV300, claimed to be the fastest print and cut roll-to-roll unit in one on the market. This solution will feature on the Innovation Road Tour.
During the four days of the tour Chris Dutkowski and Richard O’Brien will be on hand to advise and help customers on streamlining their print production with the aid in the newest and widest range of equipment available.
