Spandex Asia-Pacific is once again teaming up with Avery Dennison to offer Intermediate and Advanced training courses in vehicle wrap application. During November, four courses will take place in motor vehicle-specific premises.

Victoria will host the first courses at the Automotive Centre for Excellence (ACE) in Melbourne’s Docklands. ACE is the largest such centre in the southern hemisphere, dedicated to all things excellent in auto repair and maintenance. An Intermediate course will take place on November 12, followed by the Advanced course on November 13.

The courses move to NSW on November 26 at Trakka Motorhomes premises just north of Sydney at Mount Kuring-gai and close to Spandex headquarters. The Intermediate course is on Wednesday, November 26 with the Advanced course the following day. All courses run from 9am to 4pm and include morning tea, lunchand materials.

It is a pre-requisite for all attending these courses to have completed the Avery Academy online starter programme: http://www.academy.averygraphics.com/

Intermediate courses cost $210, dropping to $190 for additional employees from the same organisation. Advanced courses cost $225 dropping to $205 for additional employees. Classes are kept to a limit of 12 people, maximising learning and retention.

Spandex marketing manager Nathan Barclay says: “There is still good demand for qualified vehicle wrappers with the skills to fulfill market demand for both graphic wraps and paint replacement wraps. The Spandex-Avery Dennison courses are by far the best and fastest way into great employment opportunities and increasing skillsets.”
