The 25th Future Print apprentice in Queensland has commenced his training at MEGT, an ACC (Australian Apprenticeship Centre) which signs up apprentices for training providers. MEGT has become a key partner with Future Print in delivering the training required to help businesses effectively meet the challenges presented by rapid economic, demographic and technological change.

“The ability to deliver the skilled workers necessary to enable transition is an important pillar of the Future Print strategy and MEGT is a key partner in delivering that training under our competency-based apprenticeship model,” said John Scott, Future Print advisor for Queensland, pictured with new printing apprentice Josh Baldwin from Maroochydore commercial printers Express Print and Mail.

“Partnerships with RTOs are critical to delivering the outcomes required by the industry and we are delighted to be working with training partners like MEGT to deliver the Future Print competency-based apprenticeships which are so important to ensure businesses in our dynamic sector can meet the needs of a rapidly changing market.”
