Tacky Dry – the latest addition to the Doggett Digital range

A5 Tacky Dry promotion

K.W. Doggett Fine Paper has released its A5 Tacky Dry promotion, showcasing the new polyester products which add to the existing Tacky range suitable for Indigo presses. Tacky Dry is engineered for use on dry toner presses and is the latest addition to the merchant’s growing Doggett Digital range.

To continue the ‘tacky’ theme from the previous promotion, released on the Indigo certified range, the Tacky Dry promo showcases items like porcelain figures, doilies and fake fruit on each of the four specs in the range:  the three self adhesives – Crystal Cling, White Repositionable, White Super Permanent – and Super Tuff Poly.

Crystal Cling is a non-adhesive cling used for interior and exterior applications. It's a true clear cling making it great for windows. White Repositionable is a great alternative to vinyl because it won’t stretch when removed from the surface and it continually keeps its shape. The facestock is a woven polyester fabric material, which is water, tear and UV resistant. It’s like a magnet yet can also be used on painted walls, wood cabinets and glass.

White Super Permanent is a high quality decal solution for projects requiring a permanent fix, available in white only. Super Tuff Poly is a non-adhesive product that is unique as it’s tough but soft. It has the positive characteristics of both polyester and paper, is double sided and water and tear resistant. It is highly durable, performs well on press and can handle print finishing processes like paper. It even folds cleanly, which is unique compared to other digital synthetic sheets.

The Tacky Dry products allow customers to print short-run digital jobs using dry toner digital machines, made to withstand the rigours of high fusing temperatures. The unique substrates are durable, tear resistant and waterproof. Tacky Dry products run extremely well on the majority of dry toner presses and provide beautiful image fidelity and they have excellent toner adhesion.

Jon Roberts, business development manager – digital, explains: “The new range addresses the demand for high quality print, short runs and variable data options. Increasingly, our customers need shop signage or sale signs, window decals etc for short periods of time. Now they have the flexibility of using dry toner machines and Indigo presses to get their job produced quickly.”
