Starleaton showcases new Memjet technology

At two recent successful open house events Starleaton showcased its industry-leading Memjet-powered inket printing systems aimed at the packaging, label and graphics printing markets.

Kevin Shimamoto,VP sales and marketing, Memjet Wide Format, attended the events to meet and greet Australasian clients, and to convey Memjet's leading presence in the high speed single pass inkjet market.

The first open house event featured the Xante Excelagraphix 4200 (EG4200) direct-to-sheet printer outputting 1100sqm per hour at 1600 dpi direct to corrugated paperboards. Starleaton hosted some of the largest packaging companies in the region to exhibit a revolution in short-run packaging applications. Capable of printing double side pre-cut and square cut sheets up to 1067mm wide, the EG4200 produced amazing results for packaging, point-of-sale and retail applications during the event.

Following the success of the first Memjet open house event Starleaton opened its doors again to its graphics customers to present two new Memjet powered devices – the Vortex 850R (V850R) label printer and the Vortex 4200 (V4200) graphics printer.

Both the V850R and V4200 were running at speeds up to 1100sqm per hour in 1600 dpi printing on-demand labels and posters, POS and retail graphic applications onto photo paper stock,wallpaper, self-adhesive textiles, display and backlit materials.
