GJS offers sublimation performance without a premium price-tag

The SubliM RF-640

GJS has announced availability of the SubliM RF-640 dye sublimation system, a complete, four-colour performance printing solution, designed for small businesses, start-ups and those wanting to upgrade their existing systems without breaking the bank.

Created with a fusion of the best brands within the printing industry, the SubliM RF-640 from GJS offers an affordable and reliable solution for applications such as sportswear, school and corporate apparel, soft signage, carpets, textiles and photo giftware such as mugs, tiles and mouse-mats.

“With the SubliM RF-640, price is no longer a barrier for those wishing to enter the large-format dye sublimation market,” said Greg Stone, managing director, GJS. “With more and more smaller businesses expanding and growing their printing operations, we believe that the SubliM RF-640 offers a compelling, affordable and performance orientated solution that will allow them to expand, without placing a burden on their bottom line.”

Although entry-level with regards to price, the SubliM RF-640 is by no means entry level in terms of performance. The RF-640’s output produces the highest image quality thanks to Roland Intelligent Pass Control technology, a unique three-dimensional ink firing system that precisely controls droplet size and placement for exceptionally smooth results every time.

The new SubliM RF-640 dye sublimation from GJS has the following key features:

  • Printable area of up to 1625mm wide and perfectly matched with Beaver TexPrint sublimation paper

  • Production speeds of up to 13.1m2/hr at 720 x 720dpi

  • Fast-drying Sawgrass SubliM ink with exceptional colour reproduction

  • Double CMYK configuration utilising GJS’ bulk ink system

  • Includes the award-winning ErgoSoft RIP (Pro) – designed specifically for sublimation

  • Ability to control the printer via iPad with the new Roland Printer Assist App

The SubliM RF-640 is backed by GJS’ unbeatable commitment to service, and an exclusive two-year warranty on print heads for all SubliM RF-640 and XF-640 sublimation systems.

The SubliM RF-640 will be on display at GJS’ next open house demo day on Thursday, August 28, 2014. Customers purchasing before September 30 will also receive a free iPad to take advantage of the new Roland Printer Assist App.
