Free upgrade for Roland VersaUV inkjet printer owners

Free upgrade kit now available for Roland LEJ-640 hybrid flatbed printer

Roland DG has announced the 2014 Free Value-Up Campaign for customers of the company's VersaUV series printers. Included in the upgrade program are the LEF series benchtop flatbed printers, LEC series printer/cutters and the LEJ-640 hybrid flatbed printer.

"In appreciation of our VersaUV customers' continued loyalty and support, we are pleased to provide a substantial upgrade to deliver the ultimate in quality, value, and performance," said John Wall, president and director, Roland DG Australia.

The free VersaUV LEF Series and LEC Series Upgrade Value-Up Service enables current customers to lower their running costs as well as to enjoy more reliable performance. The upgrade kit includes a firmware updater and the latest Roland VersaWorks software. Roland's precision ink-jetting technology combined with new optimised profiles for ECO-UV2 ink reduces ink consumption when compared with previous profiles.

The free LEJ-640 Value-Up Service enables current LEJ-640 customers to increase productivity as well as to lower their running costs. The upgrade kit includes a firmware updater and the latest Roland VersaWorks software. The LEJ-640 with optimised print control technology adds a new print mode, 540dpi x 720dpi, for increased productivity. As a result, you have more choices as the situation or application demands. Roland's precision ink-jetting technology combined with new optimised profiles for ECO-UV2 ink reduce ink consumption up to 40% when compared with previous profiles. For printing white and clear inks, ink consumption is nearly the same as with previous profiles.
