Visual Impact Image Expo creates positive vibes
Doom and gloom was nowhere to be seen at the three-day Visual Impact Image Expo held in Sydney from October 29. Organisers of this year’s show at Darling Harbour, Sydney were pleasantly surprised with the number and quality of visitors, especially in view of the challenging economic environment. Numbers were up every day on last year’s figures with the opening day seeing the equivalent of two days attendance from the previous show.
Around the stands, the energy was upbeat. Product updates were a standout and customers were prepared to dig into their wallets Sales across the board from exhibitors were up. "The message we are sending out to the market is diversification, think outside the square," said Peter Harper, VIIE organiser. "We are aiming to stimulate visitors with creativity, by demonstrating the use of the new technology on offer, and how they can use it within their organisations."
