In 2014 the Appita Fibre Value Chain Conference & Expo is being co-located with both the Advanced Biofuels Research Network Symposium and the Bioenergy Association of New Zealand (BANZ) Conference, offering three great events over a week.
Appita aims to reach beyond the traditional boundaries of pulp and paper, offering delegates the opportunity to gain insights into the true potential of agro forestry for pulp and paper, wood products, bioenergy, biofuels and bioproducts. The three events combined will bring together organisations and stakeholders across the entire fibre value chain.
The 2014 Conference will provide a forum for the sharing of ideas, presentation of research findings, and discussion of professional issues. The program will include high profile plenary keynote speakers, subject-specific break-out sessions, workshops, symposia and poster presentations that will cover a range of important topics.
There will be presentations by industry experts, case studies from mills and showcases breakthrough technologies from international companies. Conference delegates will also hear from potential buyers and users on the demand drivers for energy products. The events will provide an opportunity to network with a wide range of stakeholders and establish future collaborations in research and manufacturing.
The final day will feature a tour of the Norske Skog Tasman mill.
